Shallow

A diptych done especially for a show in 2020. A work portraying a person that doesn’t exist. It’s a character painted purely from imagination. All my previous works are made using reference sketches and photos of real people. Hence this is not a portrait but rather an image that one may have about oneself. Because we all have “shallow” images about yourselves and about others that we project when we interact with each other.
